Water-based
Water-based
[12] water-based nail pens with a fine tip little hands can steer. They draw the dots, hearts and rainbows themselves, the color dries in seconds, and it all comes off with warm water. No bottle, no acetone, no strong smell.

Every time they see yours, they ask. And every time you picture it: a tipped bottle on the rug, fumes in the kitchen, polish on the sleeves, and twenty minutes of “hands up, it’s still wet!” So it’s “maybe at the weekend”. Again.
Nail day shouldn’t need a drop sheet and a bottle of remover.
Little Salon puts the color in a pen. They hold it like a felt-tip, draw exactly where they want, and it’s dry before they can wave their hands about. Bath time washes it away. Nail day goes from a project to a yes.
Say yes to nail dayPick a color and a pattern, then paint a nail. When you’re done, wash it off and start again, just like the real thing.
Made for little hands, and for the grown-ups who'd rather not scrub the carpet.
It's a pen, not a bottle. No puddle on the rug, no drips on the table, no panic.
No sitting with hands in the air. Paint, blow, done, before they can smudge it on their sleeve.
No acetone, no fumes, no scrubbing little fingers. Bath time is the remover.
Drawing tiny dots and lines builds fine-motor control. Designing the pattern is pure creativity.
That rainy afternoon that was heading for the tablet? Turn it into a salon. Four ideas to start with:
Matching manicures at the kitchen table. You do theirs, they do yours.
A towel, a bowl of popcorn and a queue of friends waiting for their turn.
A nail table at the birthday party. Easy cleanup, very proud guests.
A spa afternoon with Grandma, who might just end up with rainbow nails.
Somewhere between the third heart and a slightly wobbly rainbow, it stops being about nails. It’s half an hour side by side at the kitchen table, no screens, chatting about everything and nothing. Then a small hand grabs yours.
Wear those polka dots proudly. That’s the bit you’ll both remember.
It’s also the birthday present other parents are secretly delighted to see: creative, low-mess and actually used, long after the party.

To be fair to the bottle: it lasts longer. For a wedding, use real polish. For a Tuesday afternoon, use pens.

Water-based color is gentler, so it lasts [1–3] days rather than a week. That’s the trade for no acetone. These tips get the most out of every pen.
Shake with the cap on, then gently press the tip on paper a few times until color flows. A new pen isn't broken, it's just asleep.
A light touch gives fine lines. Pressing hard pushes out a blob.
Let each color dry for a few seconds before adding the next, so they don't run together.
Click the cap on after every use and keep pens lying flat in the box, so they're ready next time.
Dried-out, leaky or bent pens are the number one complaint about kids' nail pens. So we fixed that first.
Each pen is tested before it's packed, so none arrive dry. [CONFIRM]
A valve tip that releases color a little at a time, for neat dots instead of puddles. [CONFIRM]
Pens sit flat in their own slots, so tips arrive straight. [CONFIRM]
If a pen ever arrives dry or leaky, we replace it free. No arguments. [CONFIRM]

Ages [3] and up [CONFIRM against your cosmetic safety assessment]. From about 4 or 5, most children can paint their own nails; for younger ones, a grown-up does the painting and they choose the colors and patterns.
The formula is water-based and low-odor [CONFIRM: non-toxic and assessed to EU/UK/US cosmetic safety rules]. As with any cosmetic, avoid broken skin and eyes, and supervise little ones.
Usually [1–3] days, depending on how much hand-washing and playing happens. A clear base and top coat helps it last longer. Because it's water-based, it's gentler to take off than nail polish, which is the trade-off.
Warm, soapy water and a gentle rub, or a soak in the bath. No acetone or remover needed. [CONFIRM: peel-off]
New pens need priming. With the cap on, shake for a few seconds, then press the tip gently on a piece of paper a few times until the color flows. Press softly: pressing hard pushes out too much at once. Still nothing? We'll replace it free.
Click the cap on firmly after every use and store the pens lying flat in their box. [CONFIRM storage advice]
It's water-based, so wipe any marks while still wet and most come out in a normal wash. [CONFIRM]
